Arguably some of the best, understated sushi in Vancouver. As someone who is picky about sushi I consistently order from Uma time and time again. Amazing quality, always fresh fish. Quaint restaurant for dine-in, but no compromises on quality if you choose to order to-go.

Ordered takeout. The fish was so fresh. Looking forward to ordering from here again. Loved the himawari donburi. For this quality, the price is so worth it.

We shared the dinner for two. Excellent sushi. It was fresh and high quality. The kale gomae was tasty. The dinner also came with miso soup, crispy ebi, delicious Aburi salmon, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. My son just got back from spending a year in Japan. Other than the western music, it felt like being there. Highly recommend.

Editing again, after 2 years we go to Uma a couple times a month. The food is excellent, the staff is great. 5 Stars. Edit to add: 1 year later and still 10/10. Really good sushi. Highly recommend!

I visit them at least once or twice a month. Their donburi tastes really good: sashimi is really fresh, and the sauce they put on the sashimi rice bowl could help us taste the real favour of the fish.

Little cute spot - no frills for a quick casual bite. I was running some errands during my layover in Van and this one was nearby with good reviews so I decided to give it a try. It was fresh and yummy. The chef looked seriously business lol The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The table next to mine seems to be a family of regulars. That’s always a good sign. All in all, liked it
